Signposting at the Wall Trail
|
The very impressive and exciting wall path leads around the former West Berlin, along its border strip. The cycle and hiking trail is almost completely bituminised and almost at every stage push- and wheelchair compatible. It passes along still existing wall pieces, as well as border patrol and tariff trails. You should schedule around two days for this tour. Moreover, the path passes various stations and stops of the local public transport, which are also suitable for wheelchairs. |

After several more natural experiences, past the S-Bahn station Wuhletal, the trail leads you to Kaulsdorf along the Schmetterlingswiesen (German for: Butterfly meadows) directly to the Wuhlesee. After 15.4km pure nature you will finally reach the S-Bahn station Köpenick. |
